Venue Review: Canada’s Wonderland

This past weekend, my mother’s work had a special fun day for the whole company! It was held at the most entertaining places in all of Canada…Canada’s Wonderland! We received four free passes and some coupons to redeem towards snacks! My cousin, who is currently visiting from Montreal was able to join us too:) I was one REALLY happy Mommy!

It is the LARGEST theme park in Canada! Located in Vaughan which is just outside of Toronto-near a really great shopping mall, but I’ll talk about that another day 🙂

You could EASILY spend an entire day there! They have everything to offer! 16 insane roller coasters, a water park called Splash Works, various areas for younger children to have fun, and SO much more!

We stuck to the kiddie rides. Clearly little Ruby (almost three) was not quite ready for the crazy roller coasters at Wonderland haha! Planet Snoopy-an area for small tots was perfect for her!

After a handful of rides and a visit from Snoopy, we moved on to the splash pads situated in Splash Works. Ruby was squealing like a little animal! She had a ball! The water was cold and refreshing, perfect to cool off on a hot day! Dubai…why don’t we have splash pads in UAE??? Good question, right???

I only wish we would have arrived earlier so we could have enjoyed a longer stay. We turned up around 4pm (she had a long nap that day). By 7pm we were pushing it with her schedule and had to rush home to get her ready for bed.

All I can say is…if you are in Ontario, be sure to check out Canada’s Wonderland, you will love it! Young or small!

Thank you Astrazeneca for a fabulous time! We all liked our treat at the end of the day too! A funnel cake! A speciality found in North America, mainly at carnivals, theme parks and similar places. It is not exactly the best treat to have if you are trying to watch you weight as I *should* be…but once in a blue moon it is really fun to have! It is a deep fried cakel sprinkled with powdered sugar, a good serving of ice cream, topped off with a heaping ladle strawberry sauce! Yummmy!

I have not gone into immense detail about this venue as the pictures tell all!

Canada’s Wonderland is open from May until September. In October, it is only open during the weekend. I wish we were here this October for Halloween…for fall season they have a Halloween Haunt, featuring haunted attractions!
