Venue Review: Springridge Farm-Milton, Ontario

So much fun on the farm, on the farm it’s fun, it’s fun! Do you know that show I am talking about that plays early in the morning in Dubai? LOL! I Well that is what I think of whenever I take Ruby & Nate to Springridge Farm here in Canada! Fun, fun, fun!
Some of the fun activities they have:
  1. Corn trail/maze
  2. Gigantic sandbox with tons and tons of dump trucks
  3. Antique tractors
  4. Spiderweb to climb
  5. Farm yard pipe slides
  6. Live animals to feed (goats, chickens, turkeys, peacocks, bunnies)
  7. Straw play area
  8. Lookout point
  9. Cutest singing chicken show
  10. Mini tractor race course
  11. 40′ windmill!
  12. Photo props
  13. Cow milking station
  14. Wagon ride
Now that’s what I call…bang for your buck! $5.00 entry fee (children under 2 go free)

Roughly every two hours they ring a loud bell and all the kids come running to the tractor to grab a seat and go on a super fun ride through the farm and escarpment! Always a highlight for Ruby!
On the weekends they have pony rides for a reasonable $3 per ride.
At lunchtime we especially enjoy dining at the bakery/cafe. The children’s meals are served up in red pails which you get to keep-grilled cheese sandwich, cookie, milk and carrot sticks. I always enjoy a cold peach drink and a homemade cookie 🙂
The gift shop stocks tons of unique finds which I always have to quickly walk past semi blindfolded haha!
Before we head home we always make sure to take a pint of Ontario grown strawberries, and when in stock apple cider.
The farm is open daily 9-5 (spring-Christmas)

I have started developing a fear of heights. But I like here. I would go back to that top spot in a heartbeat, but perhaps with a different haircut this time.
