Venue Review: Casa Loma Toronto

While on my holiday in Canada back in September, we went on a fabulous day trip to “Casa Loma” which is Spanish for “Hill House”. Nestled right in the city of Toronto, lays a gigantic Gothic revival castle, which now plays host to a museum.  Built in 1911
A really cool place to take the whole family! It has even served as a location for such movies as: X-Men, Strange Brew, The Tuxedo, Scott Pilgrim vs. the World, Warehouse 13, Twitches Too and The Pacifier.
We spent hours roaming the castle, picking out which rooms were our favourite. The main floor consists of 10 rooms. The second floor 8 rooms, with Lady Pellatt’s suite being my personal fav. And the third floor with 6. The basement was really neat! I always love browsing through gift shops, and this was the best one I have set my eyes on. Ruby got dressed up to take vintage photos. They crack me up! And they had the cutest t-shirts with Royal Canadian Mounted Police! We even strolled through the tunnels which took us to the stables and potting shed.
Something I would love to take part in, would be the haunted tour October 29, November 1,11,14. I will make sure to plan my visit next year around Halloween:)
