Venue Review: “Ripe Foodie Friday Market”

No better way to spend my long weekend than with my Mamma bear and baby bear. Ripe “Foodie Friday Market” was the most beautiful day!
Situated in Safa Park, flocks of stylish Mom’s, Dad’s & tots in tow flooded the park and graced the market stalls. It was a true sight to see.
A stubbly (just rolled out of bed-cool kinda look) musician soothed the crowd with his mellow tunes, while little kiddies & funky parents chilled, chowed on scrummy food and watched. Others could be found walking the endless pathway of stands, perusing a variety of handmade items. My personal fav being the new “Pomme UAE” stand; fresh pastel themed tiny tot furniture. I spotted some kids doing yoga, set up by “Phoenix Rising”. Ruby really wanted to come (she loves yoga), but I decided to keep her at home for some one-on-one time with Daddy. There was a petting farm which I saw in the distance that looked great too! In that moment I felt so bad for not bringing her:(
I grabbed a burger to go for hubby from the “Pantry Cafe” and an ice cold fresh lemonade to soothe my parched palette for the ride home. “Pantry Cafe” were recently voted “Favourite Cafe in Dubai”.

We found some pretty handmade angel/fairy ornamental decorations and took one for Ruby and her best friend Molly. I made sure not to forget my small box of veg from Ripe on my way out 🙂 My mom even treated me to a bouquet of fresh flowers from Bliss!

Def a cool place to browse, hang and be seen! Bring a lawn chair, blanket and picnic basket and make a day out of it with the whole fam! I loved bumping into old friends and ooing over all the sweet and unique trinkets with my mom. Nate was a real sweet pea at the market, it will be a day I will always remember and cherish. Time to make it a regular outing!

“Foodie Friday Market” happens every Friday until June!
Below are a few “fun finds” (the wooden half moon/star bed from Pomme that I am lusting over for my kiddos).
