Christmas Traditions Featured on JustKidding Blog

JustKidding Middle East contacted me a few weeks back. They wanted to know what my three family traditions are at Christmas time. I could add a pile more to this list but shortened it down to my top three:

  1. A visit to Santa’s Grotto at Wafi Mall for a picture with Santa Claus himself. We then have the photo printed and send it out in our annual Christmas cards to family and friends near and far away. The children help me put them together and drop them off in the red Emirates Post mailboxes across town.
  2. Advent Calender commencing on December 1st. I usually get two for each child as they are just so much fun! One with chocolate and another with toys such as Lego.
  3. Towards the end of November I buy the kids a new pair of cozy winter pajamas and fuzzy slippers. Then once December starts, they don their new sleepwear and we sit nestled up on the couch each weekend watching Christmas movies, drinking hot chocolate with marshmallows and snack on homemade Christmas cookies.
Thank you for sharing my favourite Christmas tradition (1 & 2 were not included on the list) on your blog. Check it out {here}! Plus you can find out what the rest of JustKidding’s favourite Mommy bloggers had to say included: Dubai Our Sandbox, Baby Drool, The Mothership, Sara Sadik, Gingham and Sparkle & Seashells on the Palm
